Where to host your new landing page ...

Once your new landing page has been designed and build, you need to decide where you would like to host it.

Polar Bear Pages includes hosting as standard on all our plans. We use Netlify for our hosting to provide a fast, secure and global platform for your landing pages. But, you also have the option to host your landing page anywhere you like.

So first, you need to pick a domain name or URL that your new landing page is hosted on. You have three options to select from:

Option One

Purchase a unique domain name for your landing pages and point it to our hosting account. We can optionally acquire and set up the domain name on your behalf.

For example: if your company website has the domain name https://acme.com, you could purchase the domain name https://getacme.com for your landing page.

Option Two

Create a subdomain for your landing page and point it at our hosting account. To do this, you will need access to your DNS settings for your domain name.

For example: if your company website has the domain name https://acme.com, you could set up a subdomain called "get" to create the URL https://get.acme.com for your landing page.

Option Three

As our landing pages are static HTML and CSS files, we'll provide you with a ZIP file of your landing page, and you can upload the files directly to your website with your current hosting provider. This way, you can host the landing page as part of your main domain name.

For example: if your company website has the domain name https://acme.com, you could upload your landing page into a folder called "roadrunner" and your new landing page could be viewed at https://acme.com/roadrunner
